SaaS marketing hack:
Ten days after purchase, we send an email to our customer with 2 questions:
- What feature did you really like using?
- How would you describe Stagetimer to a colleague?
Why these two questions? ...
"What feature did you really like using?"
Don't ask for "favorite" feature, too much mental effort.
The answer tells us what our value feature is. This is likely the reason they spend money with Stagetimer.
Here's one of the answers we got:
"How would you describe Stagetimer to a colleague?"
This is not just a testimonial. We let users give us a product description in their own words. Words their peers understand.
They are literally writing our marketing copy for us 😁
And to really incentivize some answers we added this:
"I would love to hear from you and send you some Stagetimer swag as a thank you for your time"
Probably have to remove that sentence soon 😄
